Judy has over a decades experience in advocating for Human and Environmental rights. She earned a Bachelors in Arts Public Relations from The University of Nairobi in Kenya. She also holds a Diploma in Journalism from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication. Previously, she worked at Ogiek Peoples Development Program (OPDP) and Program For the Heritage of Ogiek and Mother Earth (PROHOME) before founding KOWYN. Judy has training in Paralegalism and Climate Justice. She has severally represented the Ogiek People (her people) and other Indigenous peoples in high level events as a speaker including the inaugural African Climate Summit 2023.
Through these experiences, she developed skills in Community Development which make her a great leader for KOWYN.
In her free time, she enjoys nature walks and gardening.
