
KOWYN at the All-Indigenous Youth Mainstreaming Dialogue
Eldama Ravine, Kenya – July 10, 2025 – The Koibatek Ogiek Women and Youth Network (KOWYN) was incredibly honored to participate in a crucial all-indigenous youth mainstreaming dialogue, expertly hosted by the Samburu Women Trust. Our representatives were present to ensure that the powerful voices and unique challenges faced by young Indigenous people are not just heard, but actively integrated into high-level discussions, especially as we approach the Indigenous Women Council’s (IWC) 10th Anniversary celebration.

This dialogue deeply resonated with our core beliefs at KOWYN. We wholeheartedly support the call for Indigenous youth to step forward as ambassadors of change. We recognize the immense value of their rich indigenous knowledge and believe it holds the key to finding sustainable solutions for the everyday challenges facing our communities.
